– Kahlil Gibran
Yes, I’m one of those cliched people who gets overly romantic about the change of seasons. But it happens every year, why get so worked up about it? For me, it signals a new fresh new start. I love change. In fact, I crave it. I’m constantly searching for something new – small or big. Which is probably why being a writer is so fun – a new topic every day, but I digress.
It’s September 22nd, meaning summer is gone. The natural warmth that tanned our skin is being replaced with a chill breeze and rich orange and red leaves falling from the skies. I’ll soon be donning boots and scarves, tucking away those bright sun dresses and sandals.
Who knows what fall will hold, but tonight I look back on the beauty that was summer with a last fruit filled sangria in hand.
